Toqi Zargaron

Day 10
The last day
Hello everyone. We arrived at Toqi Zargaron, which was very terribly cold. Our teacher Sabina Sharipovna told us to come at 13:00 and we came. The weather was very cold and we ventilated. So, Let's start..!
Toki zargaron (Persian - goldsmiths' tower) is an architectural monument in Bukhara (16th century); a shopping center for the sale of jewelry. Toki Zhargaron is the largest and most complex of Bukhara's tokis. In the past, there were 36 jewelry workshops and shops in its corridors. Trading posts, warehouses, caravanserais were built around it.

Bukhara was one of the major trading cities in the Middle Ages. Merchants from Central Asia, Iran, India, China and Russia gathered in the city. The big streets of Bukhara played the role of markets. In order to regulate these markets, dome towers were built in squares and intersections. Toki Zargaron was built in 1569-1570, and there are jewelers' workshops and shops. In Toki Sarrafon, exchange of money units was carried out. Headwear sales were carried out at the Toqi Telpak store.

My presentation is over in this place! Goodbye
