 Assalomu aleykum everyone😊👋 Today's 9th of practice day. Usually our teacher ask to students information about Modarixon. Kosh means «double». Ensemble includes 2 buildings: Modari-khan Madrasah and Abdullah-khan Madrasah. The buildings stand on narrow street sides, faced partal to each other. Modari-khan Madrasah was built in 974 of hydjr or 1566 - 1567. The date is pointed out with poems on majolica paintings over entrance. It is the modest model of Madrasah with gorgeous-faced main facade. He built Abdull-khan Madrasah in 1558 – 1590. It is one of outstanding Central Asiatic architectual work. Here architector bravely deviated from canon rules in planning, moving capacities assimetrically beyond the rectangular building outlines, including new forms in usual composition. So there was appeared inside yard spacious hall with cupola on twelve-sided light drum, it is known as «Abdullah-khan sky-light». One of the masterpieces of ancient Bukhara, Khoja Zainiddin Mosque is located in the old neighborhood. The mosque was built by master Mir Dustumbi on the oldest pond in Bukhara, in honor of Imam al-Bukhari, on the initiative of His Holiness Zainiddin. The Khaja Zainuddin complex was built by master Mir Dostumbi in honor of Imam al-Bukhari on the initiative of Khwaja Zainuddin, who was in charge of the Qazikalan of Bukhara. We will discuss about Turki Jandi.😊 Let's talk👇 Deep in the old town is the tiny and decrepit Turki Jandi mausoleum, favoured for getting one’s prayers answered. Turki Jandi’s tomb is accessed through the mosque in front of the taller, second cupola. A well inside the mosque contains holy water that locals drink from a cooler near the entrance. Have the chatty mullah show you the sections of original 10th-century Arabic script on the mosque’s doors, allegedly inscribed by Turki Jandi himself. Turki Jandi Mausoleum has inner dimensions of 4.2 by 4.25 meters, with walls that are 1.5 meters thick. The mausoleum is enclosed on two sides by a dome, with three entrances. The interior walls of the mausoleum are made of brick and adorned with carvings, while the floor is covered with clay. In front of the mausoleum lies the Turki Jandi Mosque.
